Meet the Founders

The first battle was soon to arrive, but still Druantia had yet to meet many of teams members. So, in an effort to boost team moral, and to make Cernunnos do his actual job, Druantia decided to set out a feast for the team. At the top of the world tree, in the hidden village, Druantia began her work. She helped to encourage the tree to create tables and chairs around the fountain in the square and then she asked the tree to grow the fruits that would be a part of the feast. By the time she was done the wooden dishes were set, fireflies had been placed in the light globes, and the fruits and vegetables were set out on the table.

"You know people eat more then just rabbit food right?" Druantia turned her head to see her partner, Cernunnos standing there. Her bottom of her flowing brown dress shifted and what looked like roots at the bottom became fabric. Cernunnos had a string of rabbits over his shoulder and his hair was a little mussed around his antlers.

"I do not think people eat rabbits raw." Druantia commented as she moved over to the table to just double check that everything was fine.

"I'll cook them!" Cernunnos exclaimed as he headed for the building that constituted as a giant kitchen. "But seriously, you should try eating meat Druantia. Just because you're a tree goddess doesn't mean you have to eat plants only." Was his last comment before going inside.

Druantia stood still once Cernunnos was gone. Her dress shifted again and the bottom hem seemed to take root in the floor of the tree as she waited. The only thing missing now, were the team members.

Cece had been waiting for what seemed like ages for this 'feast' Lady Druantia had mentioned not too long ago. Of course, she was still watching her figure; she was oh so protective of her waistline after that mess before her cocooning. It was a look she never wanted to don again. But a feast sounded nice. She'd always liked food, and she figured she'd be getting a lot of exercise here... Yes. She could do very well with this.

When she made it to the top of the world tree, Cece made her way out to the village hidden in the branches. It wasn't hard to find Druantia at her table, though seeing her just standing there was a bit startling. The way that the tree goddess seemingly rooted to the ground kind of disturbed Cece. Still, she wasn't going to be rude right off the bat.

"Hello there," she said with a tiny wave. Cece wasn't sure if she was supposed to just take a seat, but what was there looked just about right for her. Fruits were really all she needed to be happy food-wise. "I hope this is the right place, yes?"

Aden made his way to the top of the large tree. He was told about this feast and thought it would be fun to socialize and get to know other members of the team. He climbed the familiar stairs that he was shown on his first day here. Once at the top, he made his way to the village, finding the area for the feast.

Looking around, not many people had arrived yet. Lady Druantia was talking to Miss Cece and as much as he would have liked to engage in their conversation, Aden resisted. Instead he bowed his head in their direction before he moving to explore the place. He was too restless to sit down at one of the tables and wait for others so he made his way into the door marked 'kitchen'. He figured he had the right to go in there since he was part of the team.

As Aden made his way in, he saw a familiar figure. "You're the other founder, right? Cernunnos was it?" He asked, even though he knew he was probably right. He looked around "What's with all the rabbits?"

Sophia recalled Druantia inviting her to a large feast at the top of the world tree after she came out of the sanctuary the elder tree provided. Making her way to the top of the tree stopped and wondered if it would be more rude to go and not eat or just to not go at all. After all, all she can really do is drink blood. Not even human blood. It had to be animal blood because for some reason, human blood didn't seem appetizing to her. The other food she could taste and eat, but it did nothing to satisfy her hunger. She decided that she'd have a better chance of getting to know her teammates if she went.

Walking through the doors into the top of the world tree, she noticed Druantia talking with a lady with pink hair. "That's odd, pink hair. But then again, I'm not technically alive. Well it seems like Druantia is busy, I guess I'll just take my special condition elsewhere." She thought to herself before making her way to the kitchen. She decided to ask whoever the chef was if it was possible for him to make her something with animal blood. She knocked on the door and opened it to find Cernunnos talking to a man. All of a sudden, she was reminded of her encounter with a man with arrows. Quickly pushing the sour memory out of her mind, she politely waited for a chance to cut in and make her condition known.

A party at the top of the world tree, huh? Calvin rubbed his hands together, hoping that he wasn't too late to join in. He leaped up the tree, branch by branch, until he finally pulled himself to the top-- where he, with a hint of grace, swooped onto the wooden ground of the party floor.
He grinned, and the toothpick swooped upwards in sync with the cheerful twitch of his mouth. "'Sup, guys!" he says loudly, flashing a thumbs up to everyone in the room. He notices the founders scurrying around and blinks.
Calvin walks to the other side of the 'room', picking up a blackberry on the way, and looked at the vast horizon below them. "The view is lovely up here, ay?" he comments, popping the blueberry in his mouth. "Any of you need help with anythin'?" he inquires, turning around once more to face the respectable founders.

Abdel was flying in, full force in his dragon form. The weight of his own body began to cause him fatigue, as he began to lose control of his own wings. He flew violently into the tree, crashing into several tables, barrel-rolling constantly to protect his extremities.

He lay, unconscious for a minute before coming to, shrinking down into his regular form. He got up slowly, in fear that he would lose balance, and began to walk toward his leader, a bit ashamed that he had just messed
up the room.

"Uh... sorry about that Druantia, I just kind of learned how to fly- it's not something I'm used to" He walked up to Druantia and took a graceful bow before her. "I am at your command". He began to walk toward his path of destruction to heal it, as he began to put things back in order.

As she heard someone speak, Druantia turned to see who it was. As she turned her dress uprooted itself for a moment so she could move more freely. "Hello Celia." Druantia said with a soothing voice. She smiled calmly nodded in reply to the pink haired woman's question. "You are in the right place yes. All this has been set up to welcome you and your team mates." Druantia said as she looked over at the table she'd placed most of the food onto.

Druantia watched as first the one named Aden and then the girl Sophia went to the kitchen where Cernunnos was busy preparing the rest of the feast. She would not distract them from their goals, seeing as how they had other things on their minds then speaking with her. She did turn to welcome Calvin though.

"Welcome Calvin." Druantia said with a slight bow. "The preparations are nearly complete. Cernunnos is preparing the rest of the food." She motioned towards the table where he had taken the berry. "All this is for your and your team mates enjoyment. Please, spend the evening in relaxation and peace."

Cernunnos was in the process of preparing the rabbits for cooking when he heard a voice call to him. He looked up, his hands pausing in their skinning of several of the rabbits. He chuckled and nodded. "Yup, I'm Cernunnos." He looked the boy up and down for a moment as if memorizing everything about him. He pointed his skinning knife at Aden. "Aden right? You're the reed star sign."

Cernunnos flipped his current rabbit over and continued skinning. "To answer your questions, these rabbits are for dinner." He pointed at the pile he'd finished skinning. "And these are for one of your team mates." He pointed to the ones he hadn't skinned yet.

"Speaking of said team member," Cernunnos smiled charmingly when he spotted Sophia. "You must be hungry lass, I hope these will be alright?" He asked as he picked up the rope with the unskinned rabbits attached to it. He didn't know if she needed live animals or not, so he'd just knocked the rabbits out for her.

Druantia was about to say something more when she felt a cry of warning come from the world tree. She held out one hand and two vines swung down to gently push Cece and Calvin out of the way. She was able to move then just in time because not two seconds later Abdel crashed into the tables she'd so meticulously grown and then decorated with the food and place settings.

"It is alright, as long as you are unharmed." She said with the softest of sighs. Druantia turned to Calvin then. "I suppose I could use some help now if you're still willing. I must go and ask the tree for more fruits. Could you help to pick up the plates and such?" She asked before turning and actually walking into the tree itself. The area in which she walked into seemed to ripple for a moment before solidifying.

Not seconds later Cernunnos came charging out of the kitchen building. "Oh sweet Dana, what happened." He asked in surprise as he looked at the destroyed area. He chuckled after a moment and turned to head back into the kitchen. "At least the meat wasn't out yet! I don't have time to go hunting again." As his only comment before heading back to the skinned rabbits to cut some of them up and put the meat into the stew that was cooking.

He nodded and gave a bit of a crooked smile "Yes Sir, very good. Nice to meet you." Aden bowed slightly at him since Cernunoos was busy with the rabbits and he couldn't exactly shake his hand. He stood up straight again and looked at the rabbits, one of his eye brow's raised as he went on, "Do you need help with these? I've skinned many rabbits back home for meals." Aden grinned, "I have a hunting knife on me, it really wouldn't be a problem, Sir."
Hearing the door open again, he turned and saw a young lady walk in. "Ahh Miss Sophia, how are you?"

Before he could really say another word, a rumble was felt from the other room and a crash was heard to accompany it. "What in the hell-" Aden exclaimed, but he was quickly cut short as Cernunnos ran past him and out the door. Aden followed after to see what was up. "Is battle starting already?" He mumbled to himself as he hastily made his way to look outside. Apparently, it was another team member that he hadn't met yet. Some things were in disarray in the dining area but non too bad otherwise. He sighed a bit relieved that things were ok and it wasn't an attack. Aden headed back in as Cernunnos returned to the door and back to the rabbits.
"That was certainly interesting." he chuckled.

"Suh-weeeeet~!" the ruffle-haired man chimed, walking over to the table once more to grab a few more berries. "You're the best, Druantia. You too, Cernunnos!" Calvin stepped forward with his right foot and leaned into a bow at the waist. Just as he did this, Abdel came crashing into to the tree, successfully snapping a few branches and scattering the setup of the party. Calvin could only laugh at the crash-landing and pat Abdel on the shoulder when he was back to human form. "Tough landing, aye?" He picks up a few plates and fruits, which thankfully did not all scatter onto the ground. "You'll get used to 'em. Wanna help out?" he inquires, offering a small stack to the clumsy dragon-man. He catches a glimpse of the dead rabbits and pouts when he sees this, but it's barely noticable.

Smiling at Cernunnos, Sophia walked over to him and grabbed the string. "This is more than alright, thank you! Now, how should I eat this in a more respectable manner?" Turning towards the man that addressed her, Sophia smiled, about to answer his question when out of nowhere, there was a sudden crash in the next room. Sophia jumped at the sudden noise and dropped her string of rabbits as Cernunnos rushed out behind her. "Oh gosh." Sophia ran outside to see what the commotion was and to see if everyone was okay. She came out and saw the room in slight disarray as a dragon, wait, no, now it's a man, stood up and sheepishly apologized to Druantia. The Cernunnos said something and ran back into the kitchen. Sophia saw another man helping to reorganize the room and she walked over and started helping him, and the swaying man who was just a dragon a few minutes ago. Excited and curious to meet other team mates, Sophia walked over to the table. "Need any help?" She asked the two men, temporarily forgetting her rabbits still on the kitchen floor.

Cece was a bit put out by the fact that Druantia still called her 'Celia.' Her councilors called her Celia and the like-- not normal people. She sighed though; if that's what it was going to be, then she wouldn't argue. Not with her team founder.

She was getting ready to say something else, but there was an odd thing pushing at her, and she was a bit preoccupied with that. Cece immediately became grateful for the vine though when a pink dragon came crashing into the tables and things.

Once he was up and a normal person again, she couldn't help but giggle. She didn't know much about how dragons learned to fly, but he seemed sincere and embarrassed. She sighed again though when Druantia left to ask the tree for things again. There seemed to be more than enough people picking things up, so she didn't think they needed any help. Decided, she gave up and left for the kitchen to see what was going on there.
